XRP Price Faces Selling Pressure Despite Strong ETF Inflows
The price of XRP has been under pressure despite significant ETF inflows. According to Bitget, the U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded $18.47 million in net inflows on August 27, with Bitwise's fund accounting for $12.16 million and Franklin's fund contributing another $6.31 million during the same session.
The combined historical ETF inflows reached approximately $1.637 billion by August 27, while total net assets stood near $1.489 billion across the listed products. The reported XRP net asset ratio stood at approximately 1.63%.
However, this strong demand has not prevented recent market weakness, with the price of XRP facing selling pressure after slipping from $1.42 toward the $1.36 support zone. The chart shows that the current price is at $1.38, down approximately 2.9% over the previous 24 hours.
The $1.40 area now represents nearby resistance following the breakdown, while the $1.36 area remains the clearest visible support. A renewed test could determine whether the consolidation remains intact.
