XRP Price Falls Despite 102.5% RWA Growth: A Warning for Q3?
Ripple's XRP price has declined despite a significant increase in its Realized Weighted Average (RWA) value, which grew by 102.5% to $4.46 billion.
This divergence between on-chain fundamentals and price action is a concern for Q3, as it may repeat the pattern seen in Q2 where XRP's strength didn't translate into price gains.
The report notes that the growth in stablecoins and tokenization contributed to the increase in RWA value, but this hasn't translated into network utility. In fact, XRP's total payment volume declined by 26.6% compared to Q2, and transaction numbers, active addresses, and DEX volume also dropped.
The market may have underestimated XRP's potential, leading to its decline of 22% quarter over quarter. The question now is whether this pattern will repeat itself in Q3, pushing Ripple into another underperformance.
