XRP Price Must Soar Over 7,400% for Influencer Jake Claver to Win Bet
XRP influencer Jake Claver has sparked controversy in the community with his public bet on the cryptocurrency's price. He confirmed that he made a genuine $100 bet tied to his end-of-year XRP price prediction, which would require a substantial rally for him to win.
According to ChartNerd, for XRP to fall back to $1 by year-end in favor of Scam Detective's account, the price would need to drop 26%. On the other hand, for Claver's side of the bet to win, XRP would need to rise a staggering 7,420% by the end of the year.
Some critics point to Claver's previous call for XRP to hit $1,000 by the end of 2025, which did not materialize. They argue that Claver profits from generating engagement regardless of accuracy.
