XRP Price Plummets 93% in One Week Amid Weak Institutional Demand
XRP's price is under pressure due to weakening institutional demand, as evidenced by plummeting ETF inflows. According to Coinpedia, XRP's weekly ETF inflows dropped a staggering 93% to $1.01 million, down from $14.86 million the previous week.
This decline in demand has also affected XRP's total ETF net assets, which slipped to approximately $964 million from $988 million. This makes XRP the weakest performer among major crypto ETFs, contrasting with Bitcoin and Ethereum's stronger inflows.
Analyst Crypto Patel notes that his bearish XRP call from July 2025 has largely played out, with XRP down 72% from its cycle peak. He now expects another 20%-40% downside and sees $0.85-$0.65 as a potential long-term accumulation zone.
Meanwhile, ChartNerd suggests that XRP first needs to reclaim the $1.05-$1.06 range before a meaningful relief move can develop. The current bear market may set the stage for a major price repricing over the coming years.
