XRP Price Plummets to 70% Below Peak, Will CLARITY Act Spark Rebound?
XRP's price has plummeted by over 70% from its $3.65 peak in July 2025 to its current level of $1.11, a decline that mirrors the overall market downturn.
The largest holders of XRP have been buying steadily, with XRP whales adding around 600 million XRP worth about $670 million over five weeks, according to Santiment.
This buying activity, combined with the fact that coins have been leaving exchanges since October and leverage has drained away, suggests that sellers are running out of XRP to sell.
However, without demand, the price is unlikely to rebound significantly. The passage of the CLARITY Act, which would define XRP as a digital commodity in federal law, could spark renewed interest in the asset.
