XRP Price Plunges Amid Weakening Institutional Demand
The price of XRP has fallen by 2.5% over the past 24 hours to around $1.03, underperforming the broader crypto market.
This decline comes despite positive ETF flows, with U.S. spot XRP ETFs recording $3.45 million in net inflows on August 6.
However, these inflows remain too small to offset recent selling pressure, and institutional demand has not fully recovered.
The broader trend remains weak, with total assets held by U.S. spot XRP ETFs falling from $993.38 million to $964.21 million.
Grayscale's XRP Trust also contributed to the weakness, reporting net outflows of 103.41 million XRP valued at around $180.78 million during the first half of 2026.
