XRP Price Potential Shifts as Analyst Highlights Settlement Value
A crypto analyst has proposed a thought-provoking idea to explain how XRP could potentially reach prices between $10,000 and $50,000 per token. BarriC argues that the conventional way of assessing XRP's potential may be incomplete, focusing on the amount of capital required for such high prices instead of considering the actual value each XRP can move in settlement.
BarriC points out that SWIFT is associated with roughly $5, $7.5 trillion in payment instructions daily. To put this into perspective, moving $5 trillion would require 50 billion XRP at $100 per token, but only 500 million tokens at $10,000 per XRP.
BarriC also highlights the importance of drop-level divisibility, which allows for smaller transactions even if the price of XRP is high. For example, one XRP equals $50,000, then one drop equals $0.05.
The analyst concludes that a higher price means more value moves per token, fewer tokens are required for settlement, and institutions gain efficiency due to concentrated liquidity.
