$XRP Price Prediction Sees 21% Chance of $7 Target Amid CLARITY Act Uncertainty
The cryptocurrency market is in 'pre-clarity mode' as it waits for the upcoming vote on the CLARITY Act, which could lead to increased volatility once lawmakers actually cast their ballots. Analyst Dark Defender says this calm stretch will soon give way to daily price swings. The expert turned his attention to prediction markets, where traders are betting on $XRP's year-end performance.
On platform Kalshi, the odds of $XRP finishing above $2 by year-end sit at around 45%, indicating that roughly half of the market expects the token to at least double from its current level. A significant number of traders, around 21%, are betting on $XRP clearing $7 by the end of the year.
The analyst highlighted a particularly interesting trade opportunity above $4.50, which he notes is not widely expected but cannot be ruled out. He also wouldn't be surprised if $XRP breaks its all-time high before the year closes. Prediction markets currently price passage odds for the CLARITY Act at roughly 45-50%.
