XRP Price Pulls Back as Resistance Zone Holds
XRP has started September on a weaker note after its strong bullish close in August failed to sustain momentum above $1.40-$1.45 resistance zone.
The price rejection there has pulled XRP into a consolidation phase, with the asset currently trading near $1.36 at press time, down 5.77% on the week but still up 26.77% on the month.
Volume dropped more than 25% to $2.08 billion, indicating that traders who drove August's rally have largely stepped back.
Analyst Dark Defender views this pullback as a signal that the broader uptrend isn't finished, citing the bullish monthly close and resistance levels at $1.88, $4.11, and $5.85 with $7.07 as a longer-term target if momentum resumes.
