XRP Price Pulls Back from $1.7 High as Bitcoin Dominance Takes Center Stage
Ripple's XRP price has pulled back after reaching $1.7 on August 22, up 70% in just four days.
The rebound was fueled by a surge past multiple peaks and concentrated volume in the $1.50-$1.70 range, but strong selling pressure drove the price down to below $1.5 on August 26.
The decline was largely driven by Bitcoin's high dominance draining market liquidity, as well as XRP's inability to show synchronized explosive growth in its daily on-chain transaction volume and network base fee burns.
Despite this pullback, analysts believe the rebound is 'not yet completely over,' with potential for XRP to rise again toward $1.7 if Bitcoin remains above $80,000.
