XRP Price Rally Cools Off as Support Zone Comes Under Fire
Ripple's XRP token has cooled off after its near-43% weekly surge that pushed it into overbought territory. According to CoinGecko data, XRP trades at $1.43 today, down -3.3% over the last 24 hours.
Experts predict that whether this rally has legs comes down to the weekly close and whether XRP can hold onto its support zone around $1.42. The token's Relative Strength Index is near 87, firmly overbought, while CoinMarketCap notes that it is holding its 23.6% Fibonacci retracement at $1.52 as initial support.
A large Wintermute short position that only pays off if XRP collapses toward $10 suggests long-dated skepticism rather than near-term direction. However, the setup looks less like a fresh breakout and more like an attempted escape from a months-long range.
