XRP Price Sees Regulatory Spotlight Amid Technical Analysis Tensions
The XRP price continues to face market scrutiny as regulatory developments and technical analysis converge. A recent update from former Ripple CTO David Schwartz addresses concerns about XRP Ledger disruptions, which he claims had no real impact on the network.
Schwartz explained that his hub experienced two minor events in the past two days, where the number of peers connected to it dropped and latency levels increased. However, he stated that his investigation showed these incidents were linked to minor network disruptions rather than a problem specific to the XRP Ledger.
He provided figures showing the limited scale of the incidents, stating that median round-trip application-level latency increased by less than 20% at its worst and about 80% of peer connections remained unaffected. Schwartz emphasized that these events had no real effect on the network's operation.
In a separate development, XRP has been mentioned alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana in the Federal Register as an example of digital commodities that could qualify under a proposed framework. This gives XRP another point of attention beyond its regular market activity.
