XRP Prices Plunge to Lowest Close Since November 2024 Amid Flat New User Growth
XRP, the digital asset associated with Ripple Labs, has fallen to its lowest daily close since November 2024. On August 12, it marked approximately $1, representing a drop of about 69% from its January 2025 peak of $3.30.
According to Santiment's analysis, while the price tumbled, the network's daily active addresses have increased. In August, XRP averaged roughly 35,700 daily active addresses, up about 33% from approximately 26,400 in July.
However, the average number of new addresses created daily stood at about 2,260 in August, virtually unchanged from the previous month. This divergence suggests that the uptick in activity is driven by existing holders engaging more frequently, rather than an influx of new users.
