XRP Rallies to $1.45 Ahead of CLARITY Act Vote: Can It Reach $2?
XRP has made significant gains in recent weeks, climbing to $1.45 before the September 15 vote on the CLARITY Act.
The bill would split federal oversight of digital assets between the SEC and CFTC, placing tokens like XRP under a defined regime after years of case-by-case enforcement.
If cloture succeeds on September 15, the XRP price may trade on the assumption that the final vote follows and the SEC could no longer treat XRP as a security.
The XRP price needs to clear $1.70 on a daily close and hold it in order for $2 to become a serious conversation.
XRP is down 48% over the past year from $2.79, and reaching $2 would be a 38% gain.
