XRP Rally Shows No Signs of Slowing Down Amid Regulatory Shifts
XRP has been on a tear in recent days, and one prominent voice is signaling that this move may not be over yet. Dom Kwok, co-founder of EasyA, recently posted that 'the most hated rally is about to begin.' This comes as XRP surged by more than 50% in under two days, reaching a peak of $1.68 before pulling back to around $1.5.
The surge was driven by several catalysts, including the U.S. Treasury's announcement that it would double long-bond buybacks starting September 9. This triggered short liquidations across crypto markets and pushed Bitcoin past $72,000, lifting the broader market.
Kwok expects XRP to reach $1,000 by 2030, but his latest post suggests he sees current conditions as consistent with that long-term outlook. The SEC's proposed safe harbor for tokens whose networks operate independently has also added fuel to the fire, as well as President Trump's White House summit with SEC Chair Paul Atkins and CFTC Chair Michael Selig.
