XRP Rebounds from Iran-Triggered Low, But Key Resistance Looms at $1.33
XRP plummeted to an intra-day low of $1.27 on Saturday morning following the US-Israeli military strikes on Iran, which triggered a wave of risk-off selling across the broader cryptocurrency market.
The token partially recovered to around $1.33 as buyers stepped in at the lower Bollinger Band level, but its recovery was measured rather than decisive, with volume contracting during the rebound - a pattern typically reflecting repositioning rather than renewed conviction.
XRP's drop toward $1.27 pushed it below its 21-period simple moving average and tested the lower reference point near $1.26996.
As of Saturday morning, XRP was trading just below its 21-period SMA at approximately $1.33030 and testing the 14-period MA near $1.31786. The Relative Strength Index sat at 46.60, recovering toward neutral territory from oversold conditions but not yet generating a bullish read.
Failure to sustain above $1.32 could expose XRP to another test of the $1.27 low, particularly if broader market weakness extends into the coming week.
