XRP Recovery Pattern Spotted: Will 2026 Be the Worst Year Become Best?

Crypto commentator Digital Asset Investor has identified a pattern in Bitcoin's historical price data that he believes is relevant to XRP and the broader crypto market in 2026. According to him, whenever Bitcoin had its worst year, it was followed by a strong recovery. In 2014, Bitcoin fell 58%, then rose 35% the next year. In 2018, it fell 73%, only to rise 92% the following year. A similar pattern played out in 2022, when Bitcoin fell 64%, before rising 155% in 2023.

If this pattern holds true for XRP as well, a strong recovery could be on the horizon. The asset's Relative Strength Index is currently at neutral, while most other major assets are approaching overbought territory. Digital Asset Investor believes that '100 XRP is inevitable' and points to the asset's deflationary mechanics as one reason why.

Hugo Philion of Flare Networks agrees that current market conditions will eventually come to an end. He expects a bear market with an expiration date, after which it's game on for expansion. Philion also highlights XRP's growing adoption, citing $50 million in stablecoin borrowing, requiring approximately $90 million worth of XRP as collateral.
