XRP Reserve Decline Continues as Whale Withdrawals Dominate Binance Outflows
XRP's exchange reserves on Binance have been declining steadily since November 2025, with a total of 500 million tokens leaving the platform. This decline in reserves has removed roughly $3 billion from the exchange, dropping it to its lowest level since February 2024.
Despite this steep price correction, XRP holders have continued to move their tokens off exchanges like Binance rather than returning them for selling. This trend suggests that investors are not looking to sell their XRP holdings, but rather hold onto them or transfer them elsewhere.
The majority of these withdrawals can be attributed to large holders, known as 'whales', who have dominated outflows since August 21st. These whales generated 5.6 times the amount of retail outflows, further indicating that larger investors are driving this trend.
XRP's price action has not reflected the reduced exchange supply, however, with sellers remaining firmly involved and pushing prices down towards $1.35. A break above the current bearish trend line would provide bulls with a real opportunity to reverse recent losses.
