XRP Reserves on Binance Plummet to Multi-Year Low Amid Price Consolidation
XRP reserves on Binance have fallen to their lowest level since February 2024. According to on-chain data, around 500 million XRP tokens have left the exchange over the past year.
This decline in reserve levels persisted even as the XRP price dropped by 63% from its peak in 2025, falling from $3.66 to near $1.35.
Analysts attribute the shrinking reserves to long-term accumulation and the launch of spot XRP ETFs in late 2025. The outflow may also reflect a growing preference for self-custody among holders.
The reserve decline is consistent with the pattern observed by analyst Darkfost, who noted that Binance reserves tend to rise during XRP price rebounds, only to fall again during subsequent retracements.
