XRP Rich List Reveals Concentration of Large Balances Among Top Holders

The XRP user base has reached new heights, with over 8 million funded XRP accounts recorded. The latest rich-list figures reveal how XRP is distributed among millions of accounts, highlighting a significant gap between ordinary holders and those with large balances.

According to the data, an account holding 2,151 XRP places it in the top 10% of XRP holders, while 7,503 XRP puts an account in the top 5%. To reach the top 1%, a balance of 44,896 XRP is required. The concentration of large balances among a small number of accounts is evident, with roughly 800 accounts holding more than 3 million XRP.

Crypto analyst Ramos noted that these balances represent token values rather than dollar amounts and emphasized the importance of prioritizing other financial goals when considering investments in cryptocurrency. He also warned against putting too much into XRP, suggesting a target amount of 100,000 XRP as a starting point for investors.
