XRP Rich List Shifts as Over 8 Million Accounts Are Funded
The XRP rich list has undergone a significant shift, with more than 8 million accounts now funded. According to a recent update by Sunny Girl, a cryptocurrency enthusiast and researcher, the minimum balance required to reach various ownership percentiles among all account holders has increased substantially.
To be recognized at the top of the XRP holder rankings, an account must meet specific minimum balance requirements. For the top 10% of accounts, this threshold is now set at 2,120 XRP, while the bar rises to 7,438 XRP for the top 5% and climbs further to 10,019 XRP for those in the top 4% tier.
The numbers are even more substantial at the very upper echelons of the distribution. To be counted among the top 0.1% of all accounts, a holder must possess 276,693 XRP, while for the top 0.01%, which includes just 812 accounts, the minimum balance exceeds 3.6 million XRP.
