XRP Rich List Shifts: Top Tiers Now Accessible with Thousands, Not Millions
The XRP rich list has undergone another significant change, and it's clear that reaching the top tiers requires less capital than many holders assume. The updated ledger data shows that to rank among the top holders, one needs to hold at least 2,151 XRPs for a spot in the top 10%, while 7,503 XRPs will get you into the top 5%. The thresholds continue to decrease as you move up the list, with 14,061 XRPs securing a position in the top 3%.
Meanwhile, the XRP price is currently trading at around $1.40, up 2%, and has been boosted by the continued inflows of US spot XRP ETFs, which have posted 11 consecutive sessions of positive inflows, totaling $1.68 billion in cumulative net inflows. The National Sheriffs' Association's recent decision to drop its opposition to the CLARITY Act has also added momentum ahead of the Senate's September 15 vote on the bill.
The XRP Ledger has seen significant growth, with the quarterly average value recorded on the network rising to $4.26 billion in Q2 2026, up from just $99 million in Q1 2025. This increase is attributed to larger trade sizes and deeper account balances on the network.
