XRP Rush Hour: Ledger Adapts to Global Financial Rhythm
The XRP Ledger has developed a clear 'rush hour' for on-chain trading, according to analysts at Evernorth's Japanese arm. This phenomenon is characterized by a significant surge in trading volume during a three-hour window from 13:00 to 16:00 UTC.
A year ago, this period accounted for only 14.3% of total XRP trading volume on the XRPL network via Dune Analytics. However, that share has nearly doubled to 23.5%, indicating a significant shift in market structure.
The analysts attribute this change to the overlap of working hours between London and New York, which is the key period for the global Forex market when worldwide liquidity reaches its peak. XRP has begun operating according to this schedule, with major financial institutions using the XRPL network on a large and systematic scale.
