XRP Sees Network Activity Surge Amid Price Breakout

XRP's recent price breakout has been accompanied by a significant increase in network activity. According to Ledger, transactions processed per ledger have surged by 187.9%, indicating that the XRP Ledger is managing more activity at each ledger close.

This growth comes despite a decline in key metrics such as successful transactions and total transactions. While the number of closed ledgers has decreased by 74.4% to 5,300, the average number of transactions included in each ledger has increased mechanically due to significant transaction activity.

Active accounts have decreased by 64.5% to 4,800, but active users remain high at approximately 478,300, up 157%. The value transferred via payments has also significantly decreased, with the payment volume dropping by 82.2% to roughly 70.8 million XRP.

Transaction fees have dropped 67.5% to 92.2 XRP, and XRP burned. Despite this, XRP is currently trading at $1.41 after a sharp breakout from around $1.00, and remains above its long-term moving average of about $1.35.
