$XRP Seoul 2026 Set to Unveil Next Generation of Decentralized Finance with Ripple's Engineering Chief
Ripple's Senior Director of Engineering, J.A. Akinyele, will be speaking at the upcoming XRP Seoul 2026 event on October 3 at Grand Hyatt Seoul.
Akinyele leads the development of AI, privacy, scalability, and institutional-grade infrastructure for the XRP Ledger.
The event has already welcomed a major upgrade to the XRP Ledger with version 3.3.0, introducing six new amendments for voting, including Confidential Transfer, Batch, Sponsor, Permission Delegation, Dynamic MPT, and fixCleanup.
RippleX software engineer Mayukha Vadari outlined non-feature-amendment changes in the XRPL version release, which include a 15% reduction in memory usage, improved online_delete performance, and over 60 fixes for bugs uncovered by the AI red team effort.
