XRP Sets Historic Record with 627-Day Streak Above $1
XRP has set a historic record by maintaining above the $1 threshold for an unprecedented 627 consecutive daily closes, according to market analysts. This milestone reflects sustained buyer confidence and could lay the groundwork for a significant price breakout.
The longest period XRP has ever maintained this level without a single daily close beneath it extends through early August 2026, with the token currently trading at around $1.05. Market commentator Diana noted that prolonged stability above a key support level often precedes powerful directional moves.
The record streak follows a dramatic rally that began in late 2024, when XRP surged roughly 500% and pushed past $3 for the first time since 2018. The token ultimately reached an all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025 before entering a corrective phase.
The XRP Ledger has been processing over 1.9 million daily transactions, with stablecoin RLUSD adoption accelerating ecosystem growth. Ripple's dollar-backed stablecoin now accounts for nearly 90% of the network's stablecoin liquidity, totaling approximately $853 million. The expanding supply strengthens the ledger's position in cross-border payments and decentralized finance.
