XRP Skyrockets 48% Amid CLARITY Act Uncertainty and Treasury Bond Buyback Program
XRP has experienced a significant price surge in the past week, gaining 48% from its cycle low of $0.9877 on August 17 to around $1.48 today.
This rapid increase is largely attributed to the uncertainty surrounding the CLARITY Act and the U.S. Treasury's decision to double its long-term bond buyback program from $2 billion to $4 billion, commencing September 9.
Despite XRP's RSI having cooled from above 80 to just over 60, indicating a reduction in buying momentum, the moving averages remain bullish and support further purchasing of the cryptocurrency.
XRP faces immediate resistance at $1.50, which it has struggled to overcome since January 2026, followed by potential pullbacks towards $1.20 if it fails to break above this level.
