XRP Soars 10% on ETF Inflows and Shift to Regulated Exposure
XRP surged 10% on September 3, 2026, as U.S. spot funds and futures exposure saw significant growth, according to data from CoinDesk and Yahoo Finance.
The cryptocurrency's price rose from $1.3936 at 09:00 EDT to $1.4496 just one hour later, with a total volume of $3.91 billion.
U.S. spot XRP funds drew about $170 million across 11 straight inflow sessions, with cumulative net inflows reaching roughly $1.68 billion since the funds launched last November.
The shift towards CME futures exposure is notable, with the CME's share of XRP futures open interest rising to 17% from 10% in two weeks.
However, it's essential to note that fund flows can reverse, and futures positions may conceal hedges. A stronger jobs report on Friday could also lift rate expectations and pressure crypto prices.
