XRP Solidifies Institutional Position with ProShares Filings
Recent U.S. fund filings have brought ProShares XRP ETF back into focus, solidifying its position as a permanent component of domestic investment products.
The August 27 and 28 filings list both ProShares XRP ETF (series S000091571) and Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP), which launched in mid-July 2025, as registered fund series. The latter tracks 2x the daily Bloomberg XRP Index using futures and swaps, with an expense ratio of 1.67%. Recent assets under management snapshots put the fund between $40, $55 million.
The ProShares XRP ETF (S000091571) is listed but appears to be pending, while another product, Cyber Hornet S&P 500 & XRP 75/25 Strategy ETF, is now live under Morningstar Funds Trust. This ETF holds direct XRP at roughly 25.7% alongside mega-cap S&P names.
XRP's position as a permanent component of U.S. fund complexes marks a significant development in its institutional adoption and regulatory treatment. The asset's shelf expansion coincides with broader ecosystem activity, including Ripple's efforts to improve infrastructure and reduce complexity.
