XRP Spot ETFs Surge Up to 17 Percent Amid Price Dislocation
XRP saw a significant price surge on Wednesday, jumping around 7 percent in intraday trading. However, some XRP spot ETFs listed on U.S. exchanges performed even better, with gains of up to 17 percent.
This unusual price dislocation was noted by CryptoQuant analyst Zaip Crypto, who observed that all seven U.S. XRP spot ETFs moved into positive territory during the trading day.
The median trading volume for these ETFs was $19.7 million, with Grayscale's XXRP leading the pack at 17.10 percent growth, followed by XRPT and UXRP with gains of 16.78 and 17.01 percent respectively.
Despite this impressive performance, inflows did not follow suit, with a net outflow of $7.2 million recorded in the prior session, all coming from Bitwise's XRP ETF. This suggests that the surge was more likely due to internal price readjustment rather than new-money inflows.
