XRP Stands Firm Above $1 Amid Stable Inflation and Post-Hack Concerns
The XRP price has managed to hold above the $1 threshold following the release of last month's inflation data in the United States. The Consumer Price Index rose by 3.4% in the past 12 months, down 10 basis points compared to June and in line with analysts' expectations for the period.
Market participants seem to believe that the Federal Reserve will continue to delay a rate increase despite strong internal pressures. During the last meeting, three governors disagreed with the decision to leave rates unchanged, likely due to inflation being nearly twice as high as the Fed's target rate of 2%.
The XRP community has stressed that the recent hack on the Coreum Bridge was a specific flaw within its coding and not an issue with the XRP Ledger. However, incidents like these tend to undermine public trust in blockchain-based applications.
