XRP Steals Spotlight at Wealth Manager Presentation
According to Bitwise research analyst Ryan Rasmussen, XRP was the most asked-about cryptocurrency during a presentation to about 400 wealth managers. The token's potential institutional appeal is growing, despite many remaining on the sidelines.
The presentation covered various areas, including Bitcoin, Solana, Hyperliquid, stablecoins, and tokenization. However, XRP drew significant interest from the audience, with Rasmussen stating that it was 'the most asked about throughout the presentation.'
U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds have seen net inflows of about $170 million over 11 consecutive sessions through Tuesday, bringing total inflows to roughly $1.68 billion since their launch in November.
Despite this growth in institutional exposure, 67% of the wealth managers surveyed did not yet allocate to crypto. However, 60% expected crypto prices to be higher by the end of the year and planned to allocate to the asset class within the next year.
