$XRP Surges 19% as Ripple Mints More RLUSD

Ripple has minted another batch of $RLUSD stablecoins as XRP's price surges nearly 19% in the past 24 hours, reaching a high of $1.24.

The latest RLUSD issuance comes amid significant turnover in the stablecoin's supply, with both new mints and redemptions recorded in recent transactions.

According to XRPScan data, Ripple minted 900,000 RLUSD on August 20, following several larger transactions involving the stablecoin.

The $XRP Ledger has seen substantial activity in recent hours, with a flurry of new RLUSD mints and burns reported by the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker.
