XRP Surges 72% on Liquidity Shift, Experts Question Structural Recovery
Ripple's XRP token has surged over 72% in less than a week, its strongest rally since July 2025. However, experts suggest this uptrend may have little to do with XRP itself.
The US Treasury's expansion of long-end bond buybacks pulled yields lower and lifted risk assets broadly, benefiting tokens like XRP that carry more beta than Bitcoin.
XRP is currently trading near $1.50 after touching $1.70, but a sustained move above $2.00 would strengthen the case for a structural recovery.
Iliya Kalchev, Nexo Dispatch Analyst, pointed out that XRP's near-term path will likely track the broader altcoin complex rather than breaking out on its own story.
