XRP Surges by 18% in a Day, Pacing Top 100 Assets

Ripple's XRP token has surged by 18% in a single day, surpassing every other asset in the top 100 by market capitalization. The price of XRP is currently trading at $1.26, with a 30% gain over the past seven days.

The rally is not isolated to XRP, as other tokens like Hyperliquid, Ethereum, and Zcash have also seen gains. However, XRP's move stands out due to its significant size, given its market capitalization of $79.15 billion.

Upbit, South Korea's largest exchange, recorded over $399 million in XRP volume alone, while Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley noted the 'massive spike' of over $55 million traded through their XRP ETF.
