XRP Surges Past $1.20 Amidst Record-Breaking Bitcoin Rally

XRP has seen its best week since November 2024's post-election rally, gaining over 30% to reach $1.29.

The cryptocurrency's price has been steadily increasing since last weekend's close under $1 and shows no signs of slowing down.

Wednesday saw the biggest single-day move for XRP, with a gain of 10.40%, pushing its weekly candle toward $1.32 and the closest it has been to breaking the average price of the last 200 days since the beginning of the year.

The move is attributed to Bitcoin's recent surge past $72,000 on Thursday, which triggered $3 billion in short liquidations over 24 hours.
