XRP Surges Past $1.45 as Macro Factors and Institutional Money Fuel Rally
XRP has made a ferocious comeback from its cycle low near $1 to surge past $1.45, up roughly 45% in the past week.
This rally is fueled by a combination of macro and on-chain factors, including a US Treasury announcement that pushed long-dated bond yields lower and a short squeeze estimated at $3.3 billion.
On-chain data from Santiment shows whales accumulated around 300 million XRP within a 96-hour window, while institutional money continues to pour in with spot XRP ETF inflows reaching $39.7 million last week.
Ripple has also been expanding its product offerings, including the launch of institutional lending on the XRP Ledger and the deployment of RLUSD and XRP in this initiative.
