XRP Surpasses Bitcoin, Ethereum in Average Transaction Size
XRP's average transaction size has surpassed that of Bitcoin and Ethereum, according to data from TradingView. The cryptocurrency recorded an average transaction size of $86.68K, significantly higher than the $14.2K reported by Bitcoin and the $3.28K reported by Ethereum.
The XRP community attributes this trend to institutional activity on the network. While larger entities often move bigger amounts of capital in individual transactions, this does not necessarily confirm direct institutional investment. Large transfers can also come from exchange wallet movements or crypto whales rather than institutions.
Additional data suggests that XRP's growth in average transaction size comes alongside increasing adoption of tokenized assets on the network. The XRP Ledger attracted $2.6 billion in new tokenized real-world asset value over the past six months, ranking second among all blockchains. Stablecoin activity has also accelerated, with stablecoin transfer volume on the XRP Ledger increasing 10.8% to $4.28 billion.
