Crypto analyst ChartNerd believes that XRP's prolonged weakness could be setting the stage for a major market repricing. According to him, the token is currently testing a six-year support zone near $1.06, which has previously come right before significant upside moves.

The current decline in XRP's price is part of a wider crypto correction rather than a sign of weakness in Ripple's fundamentals, ChartNerd argued. He noted that nothing is inherently wrong with the asset and described the current period as a normal correction within a larger trend.

ChartNerd warned that a move below the $1 support level would not be unexpected, but painted it as a 'golden ticket' entry point for long-term investors. He stated, 'The lower it goes, the better the long-term opportunity becomes.'

XRP is currently trading at around $1.07, down 1% in 24 hours and nearly 3% over seven days. It has lost about 24% of its value in the past three months and remains more than 70% below its July 2025 all-time high near $3.65.
