XRP Trapped in $1 Limbo as Sentiment Hits Three-Month Low
XRP has been stuck at $1 for eight consecutive days without breaking through to either side.
The sentiment around XRP is extremely bearish, according to Santiment's analysis of crowd commentary on X, Reddit, and Telegram, which reached its most bearish reading in three months. However, this diverges with the rising activity on the XRP Ledger, with active addresses hitting 49,929 in a single day, the highest level in over two months.
The divergence between sentiment and activity is seen as a counter-signal that historically precedes either a sharp recovery or one final flush before a turn. Meanwhile, weekly net inflows into XRP spot ETFs have fallen by 85% over three weeks, from $14.86 million to just $2.25 million.
The price action of XRP is also noteworthy, as it holds at $0.9993 inside a descending channel that remains fully intact. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is approaching oversold territory, which has historically preceded either a sharp relief rally or a final capitulation flush.
