XRP Trapped in Descending Channel as Lower Highs Spell Trouble
Ripple's XRP price has been stuck in a state of uncertainty since its surge in August, unable to establish a clear direction. The asset has formed consecutive lower highs on the daily chart, trading within a descending channel that threatens to give way.
The current compression around $1.37 makes the nearby support at $1.33-$1.34 an important region for XRP's near-term structure. If this level is broken, the next target sits at the 0.618 Fibonacci level of $1.26, which aligns closely with the moving average and a broader support zone.
The 4-hour chart emphasizes the gradual compression since August, with XRP trading within a descending channel that has its upper trendline approaching the $1.40-$1.42 region. A breakout above this level would be the first indication that the correction is losing strength, potentially shifting attention back toward $1.45 and higher resistance.
