XRP Trapped Within Third Falling Wedge Structure

XRP has fallen to $1.03 this year, representing a 43.8% decline. The asset is currently trading within its third falling wedge structure in history.

This pattern has appeared twice before, with each instance leading to a subsequent price surge. In the first occurrence, XRP dropped from $3.31 in January 2018 and eventually broke above the upper trendline of the wedge to reach $1.96 in April 2021.

The second falling wedge started playing out after XRP's collapse from $3.66 in July 2025. The asset completed Waves x and y of the corrective structure, with Wave z currently underway. This wave has led to a decline from $2.41 to $1.03, but it may still record steeper declines.

If history repeats itself, XRP could secure a bullish recovery once Wave z officially ends. A breakout above the upper trendline of the wedge would mark the end of the downtrend and potentially lead to a new all-time high.
