XRP Treads Water Amid Busy September Calendar
The XRP token has been showing resilience in recent weeks, despite a short-term price drop. Despite trading near $1.40 on Tuesday, down roughly 1.6 percent on the day, it has gained about 35 percent over the past month and continues to trade roughly 17 percent above its 50-day moving average of $1.19.
The token's strength is being tested by a busy September calendar that includes a Senate vote, a technical upgrade to the underlying ledger, and steady institutional adoption. Analyst Ali Martinez points out that XRP has been accumulating in a support zone between $1.31 and $1.38, with approximately 4.8 billion tokens accumulated there.
This accumulation could be a sign of longer-term hands taking ownership of the token off-exchange, as supply-side dynamics suggest that XRP holdings on Binance have dwindled by around 500 million tokens since November 2025.
