XRP Whales Amass $72M Amid $1 Price Action
XRP has been trading around $1, and recent signals suggest it may be building a base near this level. Whales accumulated over 72 million XRP after the token briefly fell below $1, indicating larger investors view the current price as an opportunity.
Data shows that whale holdings rose from 12.09 billion to 12.18 billion tokens during the recent decline. Meanwhile, institutional demand returned through XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with Bitwise accounting for the entire $2.25 million in daily net inflows and leading cumulative inflows with roughly $512 million.
Morgan Stanley also disclosed $1 million in XRP ETF exposure, further indicating larger investors are watching the token closely. The third signal comes from XRP's price structure, which has been trading inside a steep descending channel since reaching $3.66 and recently tested support around $1.0020.
The concentration of more than three billion XRP tokens reportedly accumulated around the current demand zone could provide stronger support during another sell-off. TD Sequential also flashed a buy signal on the monthly chart, suggesting XRP could be building a base near $1.
