XRP Whales Hoard Tokens During Price Decline
Kamilah Stevenson, host of a popular wealth-focused YouTube show, analyzed XRP's large-wallet balances and found they rose from roughly 7.5 billion tokens in mid-August to around 12.13 billion post-dip.
During this period, the largest token holders added approximately 4.63 billion XRP, an amount worth about $4.9 billion at current prices, according to Stevenson's on-chain wallet and exchange-flow figures.
This accumulation occurred while retail participation in XRP faded, suggesting larger holders increased their exposure during the downtrend, Stevenson said. However, she emphasized that this buying activity does not predict a price increase.
