XRP Whales Pull Millions Off Binance Amid Market Rally
XRP whales have made an unusually large move off Binance in recent days, with more than 231 million XRP withdrawn from the exchange by large holders. This sudden and powerful withdrawal totals over $335 million, far exceeding the 90-day average of around $40 million.
This surge in whale outflows comes as XRP's market capitalization has increased by $25 billion over the past week, with the token gaining more than 40%. Analyst Darkfost suggests that this trend may have fueled XRP's strong market performance and renewed attention.
However, the derivatives market shows short-term pressure for XRP after the token cleared liquidity around resistance and moved back toward a major support zone. Long liquidations were recorded at approximately $4.66 million, a 31.82% daily increase, while short liquidations stood near $1.13 million after rising 61.61%. Despite stronger percentage increases in short liquidations, total long liquidations are nearly four times larger.
