XRP Whales Unleash $759 Million in Token Transfers

A significant on-chain event has taken place in the XRP market, with wallets holding substantial XRP balances transferring a total of $759 million worth of tokens. According to ledger analytics, multiple transfers exceeding 100 million XRP per transaction occurred across different days.

The transactions resulted in some tokens being moved to self-hosted wallets, while others were sent to lesser-known exchanges. A small portion appears earmarked for active trading.

Paribas Group investigated the motives behind this movement and identified several potential objectives: custodial reshuffling, institutional repositioning, whale accumulation or profit taking.
