XRPL Activity Soars, But XRP User Base Fails to Keep Pace
XRP's network activity has been surging, but its user base hasn't kept pace. According to data from CryptoRank, XRP's daily active addresses jumped by 35% in August, averaging around 35,700 per day. However, new addresses have remained relatively flat at about 2,260 per day.
This gap between rising activity and stagnant user growth is becoming increasingly hard to ignore, especially with XRP trading near $1.01. Market analyst Xaif Crypto pointed out that the increase in active addresses can signal stronger network usage, but it doesn't necessarily mean fresh capital or new demand is entering the market.
The same users could be becoming more active without increasing their XRP holdings. They might be trading more frequently, moving tokens between exchanges, or interacting with different parts of the XRPL ecosystem. This helps explain why XRP's price continues to struggle despite the rise in on-chain activity.
