XRPL Commons Launches Grants Initiative to Boost XRP Ledger Development
XRPL Commons has unveiled a new grants initiative to support XRP Ledger development, targeting major integrations and institutional adoption.
The three-track program includes Glow, which rewards completed open-source work with funding for developer tools, infrastructure, technical documentation, security upgrades, and protocol improvements. Since its launch in October 2025, Glow has funded 11 projects covering areas such as node management, transaction analytics, and post-quantum cryptography.
The second track focuses on early-stage teams through Make Waves, The Aquarium, and milestone grants, which provide funding for products operating on testnet or mainnet. XRPL Commons is linking capital to measurable execution and adoption, with technical guidance and go-to-market assistance available.
The third track targets established projects seeking XRPL integrations, such as LOBSTR, which has connected over 1.5 million users to the network. The grants program arrives as network activity and institutional use accelerate, with XRPL processing over 3.7 billion transactions and tokenized real-world assets reaching $2.25 billion.
