XRPL Hub Recovers from July Attack with 406 Peers Online
David Schwartz, a key figure in the XRP Ledger ecosystem, has announced that his XRPL hub has fully recovered from problems caused by a network-wide attack earlier this year. The July 2026 manifest-flood attack disrupted peer connectivity across XRPL without halting or forking the ledger.
In an update on X, Schwartz stated that 'all issues with my hub have been fixed and it has been rock solid for the past two weeks.' He also clarified that two blank sections in recent monitoring charts were due to problems with the monitoring system rather than his hub itself.
The XRPL hub now holds 406 peers, near its average of 401.12. The network's peer and validator redundancy helped consensus continue while developers deployed hotfixes during the attack.
